Bonetto. A new life for historical design Bonetto Collection was born at the end of the 60’, in the moment when the industrial design saw its prolific season. Beniamino Bonetto, aside his work as a wood manufacturer and distributor of brands such as B&B Italia, Zanotta, Flos, Artflex and others, he starts, driven by his passion and enthusiasm, to develop new products for the market completely realized by Italian
craftsmen. Bonetto produces two different collections of furniture design, together with a very talented group of young Italian architects. One collection more sophisticated characterized by materials such as lacquered wood, varnished metal, marble and glass; a second one more into innovation in veneered light ash, called “Ultrapiatti” for a young public. Both collections are characterized by a strong technical approach: the marble and the lacquered metal are used in an innovated version and the “Ultrapiatti” series done by a simple mounting system inspired by the origami. Very soon the new collections have been published in Domus, Casamica and Interni and the company’s presence at the different furniture fairs such Expocasa, Eurodomus and Salone del Mobile in the 70’ made it up lighted the Bonetto Company’s talent. Bonetto. A never ending passion Nowadays Bonetto decides to edit some pieces of these collections with new materials and new colors but with the same attention and the same care for innovation and details. The collection is today the symbol of the Italian made because is about a limited edition design, made by Italian craftsmen with their unique knowhow. Bonetto Design is much more than a showroom In the years became an “atelier” and “workroom” where the value of the made in Italy is the leitmotif and the ideas and collaborations achieve in new products and collections. The company specializes as well in bespoke furniture thanks to the strong experience in artisan production and interior consulting based on its collaboration with the biggest Italian furniture brands. Craftsman excellence. All the products in Bonetto Collection are entirely made in Italy by qualified craftsmen, which have obtained, from the Piedmont Region, the “craftsmen excellence” certification.
