Founded in 1954 in Tuscany, the DelTongo company kept always own identity of passion and specialization, maniacality and attention to detail, with obsession for kitchens well done, from then on it never stopped.
The first revolution took place at the end of the 60s, with a change-up from the old heavy monoblock kitchens and traditional kneading to modular solutions, the good idea at right moment: the company grew and it later became a big firm.
The second one was becoming sponsor of sports competitions - included cycling with the great world champion of street cycling Giuseppe Saronni, who wore the yellow Del Tongo t-shirt – thanks to them the Del Tongo brand became one of the main points of reference for Italian kitchens.
The third one, the most recent, is the restyling of the whole productive process: as a value innovation, the goal of everybody inside the company, especially of the research centre, is looking for the full efficiency and the space optimization continually. Every single piece has to be worth calling in Del Tongo name because in this company each piece – even the apparently trifle as a small screw – is selected or created in the best way, and always it is checked scrupulously.
