Donne Illuminate

Donne Illuminate was first set up in 2014 and has evolved out of the Cambiofaccia company, a design lab first set up in 1998 by Rezzonica Castelbarco and Cristina Magliano. From the transformations and purpose modifications perspective of Cambiofaccia, we have moved on to designing light fittings that are halfway between art and design. The vision behind the project is to experiment contaminations with other arts: painting, sculpture and photography. Special attention is paid to the choice of materials, to the realization only handcraftsmanship to the mixture between classical forms and innovation. Much importance is given to research on light based on LED technology . The two new collections Donne Illuminate and Exomoon are not only indoor lamps but light and sculpture portraits. For Donne Illuminate it was not only to create a light source, the intent was to revive the faces to enlighten them, To create emotion through light. Exomoon is inspired by the pure and essential form of the circle and becames a luminous sculpture that projects light and shadow into the the surrounding space.
